Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, following protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear activity reports and communicate observations to leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

• Wed 10:30 AM - 07:00 PM
• Thur 10:30 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a technology workplace.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
