Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to maintain the security of the assigned facility by enforcing access control, observing and reporting violations. The role supports Sizemore's values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety and Teamwork in daily duties.

Responsibilities include patrolling, reporting via DAR, controlling access, responding to emergencies, and operating CCTV and related systems. This is a part-time evening shift with a pay rate of $14.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Experience in security, military or law enforcement preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office programs preferred.
• Commitment to service and professionalism.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Good problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises.
• Documents security activity with Daily Activity Report (DAR) and incident reports.
• Controls vehicle and personnel access per established procedures.
• Responds to emergencies per established procedures.
• Operates CCTV systems and other required equipment.
• Prevents losses by reporting irregularities and enforcing policies.
• Drives a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Enforces Sizemore's and client policies.
• Performs other tasks as required.
