Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to protect our facility and employees. The role emphasizes enforcing access control, observing and reporting violations, and maintaining a safe environment in a climate-controlled building or exterior conditions.

We value reliability, flexibility, and teamwork, with a pay rate of $18.00/hour for weekend shifts. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively, demonstrate professionalism, and work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school graduate or GED obtained.
• Experience in security, military or law enforcement preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office; not required.
• Demonstrate service and professionalism through conduct.
• Good problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
• Documents security activity with Daily Activity Report (DAR) and completes incident reports as required.
• Controls vehicle and personnel access in accordance with established procedures.
• Responds to emergency situations in accordance with established procedures.
• Operates specialized equipment as needed (CCTV systems, vehicle scales, computer systems, etc.).
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Drives a culture of constant improvement, identifying projects to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
• Enforces Sizemore’s and client’s policies and procedures.
• Other tasks may be assigned as required.
