Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Entry Screening in Augusta, GA. You will manage badge access, monitor entry points, and perform patrols to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, authorizing entry according to site procedures, and documenting visitor and contractor activity.
• Operate access control systems, maintain accurate entry records, and report access irregularities or equipment concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, production areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
