• 2+ years of security-related experience.
• 1+ year armed security experience in law enforcement or military.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and report suspicious activity and incidents.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with emergency services or law enforcement.
• Prepare clear activity reports and logs per site requirements.
