Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Driver Patrol in Springfield, MO. You will provide a visible security presence, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents at a utilities location while upholding client policies and safety procedures.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and successful completion of background checks and drug screening. A schedule is provided with daytime evening shifts, working on-site at a utilities site.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, utility infrastructure areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, access-control issues, and suspicious activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately in accordance with site-specific procedures.
