Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Springfield, IL. You will provide customer service, maintain a visible security presence, and perform patrols at government locations to deter incidents and protect people and property.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and compliance with background checks and drug screening as permitted by law. Driving positions may require a valid license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with laws; drug screen where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government facilities and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and report irregularities and hazards.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs and records.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
