Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, buildings, access points, equipment areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate observations or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
