Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Visitor Entry Driver) in Texas City, TX. You will patrol, manage access, verify credentials, and assist visitors at an industrial engineering site, while delivering courteous customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, TSA TWIC and the ability to lift light to moderate loads. The position offers flexible day shifts and opportunities to engage with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial engineering location.
• Monitor and control access to facilities, restricted areas, and project spaces by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and following established entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and access-control documentation while supporting a professional and customer-focused environment.
