Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Access Operations) for Texas City, TX. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access and perform patrols at a chemical/petrochemical location while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a TWIC, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to work an evening schedule with a pay rate of $14.94 per hour. This position supports a teamwork‑driven culture focused on integrity and reliability.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen are required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage entry and records.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following site procedures and notifying personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols and identify unauthorized activity or security concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and leadership, document observations.
