Job summary

Allied Universal in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed, Driver) to perform patrols, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service at an industrial site. This role involves routine vehicle and foot patrols and coordinating with site personnel.

The position requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and a background check. Prior security or customer service experience is preferred, with licensing as applicable by state law.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver license in the state of employment.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• State/local licensing may be required for security work.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report/escalate as needed.
• Document observations and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.
