Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Driver in El Paso, TX. The role involves unarmed patrols at a retail location, delivering customer service and maintaining a visible security presence while following site-specific policies.

As a part-time driver, you'll work a set evening schedule with shifts listed (Mon/Tue/Sun 3:00 PM–11:30 PM). Prior security experience and a valid driver's license are required to safeguard clients and support a positive community impact.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal driver policy.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be needed prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while following security procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, concerns, shoplifting observations, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location including floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity and policy violations; report observations through procedures.
• Assist with access control, customer flow, and communication with store staff and emergency responders.
