Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Del Valle, TX. This role offers flexible part-time hours with anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts for higher earnings.

Pay rate is $22.00 per hour. Responsibilities include access control, incident response, and client-facing security duties at government facilities as needed. Requires at least 1 year of security experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorized entry, and assist visitors per site policies.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.
