Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal driver policy.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be needed prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and/or store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, shoplifting-related observations, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential policy violations, and conditions that may require attention, and report observations through established procedures.
• Assist with access control, customer flow, and communication with store personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
