Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• State/local licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor logs.
• Respond to access-related incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and perimeter to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain access-control records and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
