Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol) in Charlotte, NC. You will perform routine security duties at a financial institution, maintain a visible presence, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and daily reports while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
