Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Charlotte, NC. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor alarm panels, and report security concerns while delivering excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

This role requires a minimum of one year in security, a valid guard card or license if applicable, and comfort using a computer or tablet.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate location, following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building areas to deter incidents and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Prepare accurate patrol and incident reports in line with Allied Universal and site requirements.
