Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Badge Services in Omaha, NE. You will monitor access, verify credentials, and maintain secure entry points at a logistics and distribution site, while providing professional customer service to staff and visitors.

The role offers part-time hours with daytime and weekend shifts, an hourly pay rate of $17.56, and opportunities to use our Shift-Claim platform to pick additional shifts. Must be 18+ and pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, appointments, and authorization for employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and access-control systems; maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident logs.
• Respond to access-control issues, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
