Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Access Coordination at a food and beverage production location in Dakota City, NE. The role involves managing entry points, verifying credentials, documenting activity, and reporting security concerns.

You will use computer or tablet systems, support a welcoming environment, and help maintain a safe workplace. The position offers weekend shifts with a pay rate of $19.72 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization credentials, maintain visitor logs, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and contractors as directed, documenting irregularities and reporting access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
