Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Badge Services in Omaha, NE. The role focuses on access control, credential verification, and secure badge management at a logistics site. You will work with a team to maintain safety standards and respond to security events.

The position offers a part-time schedule with pay rate $17.56 per hour. Candidates should be 18+ for unarmed roles and possess a high school diploma, with background checks and drug screening as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, appointments, and authorization for employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and access-control systems; maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident logs.
• Respond to access-control issues, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
