Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Identity Verification in Omaha, NE. You will manage access, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and provide professional customer service at a logistics and distribution location.

This role requires a quick, calm response to incidents, regular patrols, and strong reliability. Pay is $17.56 per hour with a flexible day schedule and opportunities to grow within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A background check and drug screening are required where allowed by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control access to restricted areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, escalating irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
