Job summary

Allied Universal in Buford, GA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Driver Credential Registry to protect clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will manage access, verify credentials, and support site safety while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers flexible weekend hours, a $16.33 hourly pay, and opportunities to learn our shift-claiming tools and grow within a leading security company.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle access records, and direct individuals to appropriate areas of the freight location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report access-control concerns, damaged barriers, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues in accordance with site procedures.
