Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Credential Validation Driver in Braselton, GA. This part-time position involves serving clients, managing access points, verifying credentials, and maintaining logs at a busy logistics site.

You will use smart tools to claim shifts and support a welcoming environment for employees, drivers, and visitors. The role requires a valid driver's license, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to work two night shifts per week.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen per employment policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for access, check identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift documentation related to access-control activity, incidents, and security-related observations.
