Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Point Driver in Watsonville, CA. You’ll safeguard clients across healthcare and other industries, while handling access-control duties, patrolling, and patient/staff interactions to maintain a welcoming environment.

Role requires a valid driver’s license; minimum one year security experience; high school diploma or equivalent; and willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry to restricted areas in accordance with hospital procedures.
• Issue, collect, and document visitor badges, temporary credentials, keys, and/or access devices as assigned.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.
