Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Driver Gate Operations in Watsonville, CA. You will support patient, visitor, and staff safety by managing entry points, verifying access, and patrolling assigned areas within a healthcare setting.

This is a Full Time position with a $20.00 hourly pay rate. You will work a structured schedule Mon-Sun 2:00 PM–10:30 PM and join a team that values teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for patients, visitors, staff, contractors, and deliveries.
• Assist with visitor management, issue credentials, and communicate access requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents calmly and notify hospital personnel and responders as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, entrances, and surrounding areas.
