Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Driver Entry Verification Security Officer in Georgetown, DE. You will safeguard clients, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access points at a food and beverage location. The role requires a valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills.

Shifts are Sat 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and Sun 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. You will join a motivated team, with opportunities for growth and access to exclusive tools and perks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Six months of security-related experience recommended.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by performing site-specific access-control procedures.
• Verify credentials, issue visitor badges, maintain entry records, and direct authorized individuals to areas.
• Monitor vehicle, employee, contractor, and vendor traffic at gates and entrances; inspect deliveries.
• Respond to access-control incidents and alarms with calm, clear communication to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
