Job summary

Allied Universal in Georgetown, DE is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Patrol Driver to provide reliable, flexible coverage at an assigned site.

This role offers part-time hours with opportunities to pick up extra shifts, a $17.25 hourly pay rate, and pathways toward a full-time security career.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license, security experience, and a focus on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license in the job location.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a production location; verify credentials and manage access logs.
• Screen incoming vehicles and deliveries per site procedures and direct authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
