As a Security Officer Badge Verification Driver in Georgetown, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, visitor processing, and security‑related policies at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entrances, gates, badge activity, and credential checks to help control authorized access for personnel, deliveries, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, problem‑solving, and communicate details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Document visitor logs, vehicle information, delivery activity, and unusual incidents in accordance with site procedures and reporting expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, focusing on entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and other sensitive operational spaces.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
