Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Clear Lake, IA to help maintain a safe environment for our clients. You will monitor premises, control access, patrol and respond to incidents.

Responsibilities include enforcing site rules, reporting hazards, assisting visitors, and providing excellent customer service while using security technology and performing routine rounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above-average computer/tech skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership.
• Ability to work independently.
• Remain calm and professional under stress.
• Attention to detail and vigilance.
• Professional demeanor and escalation judgment.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Part-Time Security Officer

Primary Location: Clear Lake, IA

Wage: $19.00/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• 1 8 hour shift guaranteed (more hours are able to be picked up to cover vacations and call offs).


• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.


• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.


• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.


• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.


• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.


• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.


• Conduct tours of the property.


• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.


• High School Diploma or GED required.
