Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in Forest City, IA is seeking a Security Officer - Full Time to maintain a safe environment. wage is $18.50/hr with a Sat-Sun 0600-1400 and Mon-Wed 1400-2200 schedule.

You will monitor premises, manage access, and patrol various locations while enforcing site directives. The role requires excellent customer service, vigilance, and the ability to respond to emergencies with sound judgment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Primary Location: Forest City, IA

Wage: $18.50/HR

Schedule: Sat - Sun:0600 - 1400 & Mon - Wed: 1400 - 2200

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
