Securitas, Inc. is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Clinton, IA. The role involves maintaining a safe environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling diverse sites. You will uphold regulations for personnel, visitors, and areas while delivering quality customer service.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and strong computer skills. Weekend night shifts (Sat & Sun 11 PM–6 AM) with comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Fire watch.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: Clinton, IA

Wage: $21.10/HR

Schedule: Sat & Sun: 11PM - 6AM

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
