Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license in the job location.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, and exterior perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and assist with directing guests per site procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly for leadership and site contacts.
