Job summary

Allied Universal in Culver City, CA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver Preparedness). You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, assist employees and visitors, and respond to incidents per site procedures.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, at least one year of security experience, and a high school diploma. CPR/First Aid and guard card are preferred. Schedule includes day-time and evening shifts with pay of $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license in the job location.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, offices, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/employee/contractor authorization per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
