Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license in the state of the job.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor management procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site protocols.
• Maintain professional communication with site personnel and the Allied Universal team while completing required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
