Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Driver Patrol Customer Care in Culver City, CA. The role combines unarmed patrol duties with customer service at a technology-focused corporate site.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, lobbies, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Prepare clear and timely reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
