Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Amana, IA. You will provide customer service, manage access-control procedures, and monitor entry points to ensure a secure environment. A valid driver’s license is required, and CPR is preferred.

Schedule includes Tue 2:00 PM–10:00 PM and Fri 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with driving duties as needed. This role emphasizes teamwork and reliability, offering flexible shifts and opportunities to engage in various security tasks

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required by client.
Valid driver’s license required.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check per federal/state/local laws.
Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel per site access procedures.
Monitor and control access points; verify IDs and vehicle entry requirements.
Maintain and issue visitor badges and temporary credentials; communicate concerns to site contacts.
Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations following reporting procedures.
Conduct regular patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
