Job summary

Allied Universal in Denison, IA, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol (Part Time) to safeguard clients across various industries, including Food/Beverage. You will perform unarmed security, patrol assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Part-time schedule with shifts on Sat and Sun from 06:00 AM to 02:00 PM. Allied Universal offers growth opportunities, access to exclusive tools to claim additional shifts, and a retirement

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related documentation.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
