Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Driver Credential Screening in Amana, IA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access, and respond to alarms while providing excellent customer service.

The position runs on a night schedule with a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED required. The role emphasizes safety, communication, and reliability at a manufacturing/industrial site, with access to Allied Universal tools and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required per policy.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Subject to background check and drug screening as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain logs, and direct authorized individuals to areas per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns, notifying site contacts and leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, perimeters, parking areas, and grounds to identify unauthorized access or security concerns.
• Document observations and incidents; complete required reports per site procedures.
