Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, seeks a part-time Security Officer Access Verification Driver for a busy Memphis, TN logistics site. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, patrol premises, and deliver customer service to employees and visitors, supporting a secure environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, age 18+ for unarmed or 21+ for armed positions, and a background check.

Qualifications

A valid driver’s license required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain access records.
Control vehicle and pedestrian access to loading areas and other restricted zones.
Respond calmly to incidents following reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
