As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, driver, and contractor access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to loading areas, shipping and receiving locations, and other restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
