Job summary

Beaumont, a retirement community in Bryn Mawr, PA, is seeking a part-time Security Guard to maintain the safety and well-being of residents, guests and staff across the campus. The role includes monitoring alarms, access control, visitor sign-in and responding to incidents in a courteous, professional manner.

Responsibilities cover patrols, incident reporting, shifting, and collaboration with the Marketing/Executive teams as needed. A High School Diploma and PA driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Valid PA driver’s license with a clear driving record.
• Must have a pleasant and professional telephone manner and work efficiently under stressful situations.
• Must be alert and attentive at all times.
• Flexible for shift changes.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone promptly and professionally and relay messages to appropriate personnel.
• Accept and document daily absence callouts and relay messages to supervisors.
• Responsible for resident emergency and fire alarm procedures for residents, guests and staff.
• Monitor access control system and secure doors as needed.
• Ensure sign-in by visitors/guests and maintain a clean work environment.
• Lock and unlock non-essential doors at scheduled times and manage master keys.
