Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Driver Credentialing in Topton, PA. The role focuses on access control at a manufacturing/industrial site, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes and monitoring entry points.

The position requires a valid driver's license, 6 months of security experience, and comfort using computers/tablets, with a customer-service mindset to interact professionally with employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience.
• All candidates must possess a valid driver’s license as per AU policy.
• Proficiency in using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A background in customer service is essential and should be discussed during interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors and contractors by executing site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain visitor/contractor/delivery records.
• Control entry/exit of personnel, vehicles and materials per site procedures to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents and critical situations calmly and escalate as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking, and perimeter, reporting concerns.
