Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Security Officer Part Time Screening Coordinator in Concord, NC.

In this role you will provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site procedures and emergency response plans. You will screen personnel and visitors, monitor access points, log activities, and patrol to maintain a safe facility.

Qualifications

• Possess supervisory experience.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and authorized deliveries entering the distribution location in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor and delivery activity using required logs and systems.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
