Ascent CFO Solutions is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support its team during maternity leave. This part-time contract covers November through mid-February, with hybrid options at the Denver Tech Center or remote work.

Candidates should have public company SEC reporting experience, including 10-Q review, and hands-on use of DFIN ActiveDisclosure, XBRL, and NetSuite. You’ll work with the accounting team and third-party consultants to keep the close and quarterly filing on

Qualifications

• Public company SEC reporting experience, including 10-Q review and tie-out.
• Hands-on experience with DFIN ActiveDisclosure and XBRL.
• NetSuite experience and ability to review reconciliations and write technical memos.

Responsibilities

• Review and tie out the 10-Q in DFIN ActiveDisclosure, including XBRL tagging.
• Review month-end account reconciliations prepared by the accounting team.
• Prepare technical accounting memos on lower-risk topics.
• Review complex technical accounting memos prepared by third-party consultants.
• Work independently and keep the reporting timeline moving while the VP is out.
