Job summary

Ascent-CFO-Solutions is seeking an interim SEC Reporting & Accounting support professional for a part‑time contract during maternity leave. The role is hybrid (Denver Tech Center) or remote, November through mid‑February, at $90‑$105/hour depending on experience.

You will support the VP of Accounting, tie out the 10-Q, review reconciliations, and prepare technical memos with third‑party consultants. The assignment requires hands‑on SEC reporting, familiarity with DFIN ActiveDisclosure and XBRL,

Qualifications

• Public company SEC reporting experience and ability to review and tie out the 10-Q.
• Hands-on experience with DFIN ActiveDisclosure and XBRL tagging.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP.
• Ability to learn a new environment quickly and work with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Review and tie out the 10-Q in DFIN ActiveDisclosure, including XBRL tagging.
• Review month-end reconciliations prepared by the accounting team.
• Prepare technical accounting memos on lower-risk topics.
• Review complex technical accounting memos prepared by third-party consultants.
• Work independently to keep the close and quarterly filing on track while the VP is out.
