Job summary

Harris Teeter in Burlington, NC is seeking a part-time Seafood Clerk to process, package, and stock seafood products in a clean, safe environment. You will assist customers, unload stock, and reload salvage as needed.

The role requires 18+ years of age, basic English literacy, and the ability to lift and move items in a fast-paced setting. Training will be provided to support team goals and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers, vendors, and associates who only speak English.

Responsibilities

• Process, package, and stock seafood products according to Seafood Standards.
• Clean work areas and maintain sanitation.
• Provide customer service and unloading stock; reload salvage as needed.
• Perform duties of meat clerk when assigned.
