Job summary

Harris Teeter in Pinehurst, NC, is seeking a part-time Seafood Clerk to process, package, and stock seafood products following Seafood Standards. You will clean work areas, assist customers, unload stock, and reload salvage. When assigned, you may perform meat clerk duties as well.

Required are basic English reading/writing skills; willingness to train; and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus; 18+ years old are eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of company training including food sanitation and product knowledge.
• Ability to read English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Process/pack seafood products according to standards.
• Stock, unload, and reload salvage; provide customer service.
• Perform meat clerk duties when assigned.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas.
