Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time associate responsible for processing, packaging, and stocking seafood products while ensuring compliance with seafood standards. The role also involves cleaning work areas and providing excellent customer service, including unloading stock and reloading salvaged items, with duties as meat clerk when needed.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and complete company training in areas such as food safety, sanitation, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Complete Harris Teeter training including but not limited to: new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Process/pack seafood products according to Seafood Standards.
• Stock and merchandise products; unload stock and reload salvage.
• Provide customer service and assist customers in the department.
• Perform duties of meat clerk when assigned.
