The Learning Lamp in Somerset County is seeking a part-time Staff Substitute to support our School District Staffing Programs. You will cover for paraprofessionals during regular school hours, Monday through Friday, when districts need coverage.

Responsibilities include supervising students, assisting with classroom activities, and following the guidance of licensed teachers. Enjoy a collaborative, supportive environment with opportunities for professional development and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Experience working with children

Responsibilities

• Supervise students throughout the school day, including lunchroom, bus, gym, field trips and playground duty.
• Assist with administrative records and required reports, and help maintain a neat classroom.
• Present subject matter under teacher direction, tutor children individually or in small groups, and reinforce learning concepts.
