Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker for a part-time, school-based role in Littleton, CO, for the 2026-2027 school year. You will work on-site with students, families, and school teams to support social-emotional well-being, address barriers to learning, and implement IEP-aligned interventions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible Colorado LMSW/LCSW licensure or credential.
• Completion of supervised practicum/fieldwork in an accredited program.
• Experience with children or school-aged students preferred.
• School-based/pediatric social work experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of IEPs, IDEA, and behavior intervention planning.
• Understanding of child/adolescent development and social-emotional needs.
• Ability to provide individual and group interventions within an educational setting.
• Knowledge of community resources to connect students and families.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient with technology for documentation and communication.
• Ability to complete fingerprinting and background clearances.
• Ability to collaborate with students, families, educators, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Professionalism with tact, confidentiality, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group social-emotional and behavioral support.
• Conduct student assessments and contribute to evaluations and IEPs.
• Develop and implement interventions for students' needs.
• Deliver services outlined in students' IEPs.
• Monitor progress and maintain documentation.
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Support behavior intervention plans and other student supports.
• Provide crisis intervention and referrals per district procedures.
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, counselors, and other staff.
• Engage families to address barriers to participation and success.
• Connect students with school and community resources.
• Maintain confidential student records and adhere to policies.
